I’m Jazmine—founder of Winnie & Co., proud #girlmom to two beautiful daughters, and passionate advocate for natural hair care for kids. Hair care that celebrates and supports our little ones’ curls, coils, and kinks. As a teacher by trade, I’ve always believed in the power of education, representation, and self-identity. Through Winnie & Co., I’ve fused my passion for education, hair care, and instilling positive self-image in children to create something bigger than just products. Winnie & Co. is about nurturing our little ones from the inside and out.
But before there was a brand, there was a mom who was overwhelmed, exhausted, and just trying to figure it all out.
The Struggles of Detangling Natural Hair
Back in 2021, I was stuck in a cycle that so many parents with curly-haired kids can relate to: dryness, matting, breakage, and painful detangling sessions that ended in tears for both me and my daughter (pictured above).
I tried product after product—many labeled “natural” or “kid-friendly”—but none of them seemed made for kinkier textures. We were stuck with formulas that were either too harsh for someone so little, too drying, or simply didn’t deliver the moisture and nourishment that my baby’s hair desperately needed. I remember thinking, Why isn’t there something that truly works for our children’s natural hair?
Why I Created Winnie & Co.
When I couldn’t find what we needed, I decided to create it myself.
Right in my kitchen, I began experimenting with blends made from natural, high-quality ingredients. I needed to create moisturizing products for curly hair kids. The kind that actually nourished my daughter’s hair instead of stripping it. The kind that truly moisturized her hair instead of giving the temporary illusion of hyrdation. What started as a personal mission to love and care for my baby girl’s crown quickly grew into something bigger: a brand built by a mom, for other parents just like me.
That’s how Winnie & Co. was born—with a deep commitment to natural hair care for kids that’s gentle, effective, and rooted in love.

Winnie & Co. was built on the belief that every curl, coil, and kink deserves care, respect, and celebration. Our line is designed to:
