As a former teacher, I’ve always believed in the power of education, representation, and self-identity. With Winnie & Co., I’ve combined those values with my love for natural hair to create more than just a brand—it’s a movement rooted in love, knowledge, and empowerment.
Like many parents of curly-haired kids, my journey began in the thick of frustration: detangling sessions that ended in tears, endless product trials that didn’t work for my daughter’s texture, and a deep sense of overwhelm. I searched high and low for products that were safe, gentle, and actually effective for kinky and coily hair—but I kept coming up short.
So, I started creating my own.
Blending natural, nourishing ingredients right in my kitchen, I set out to make products that actually worked—products that delivered real moisture, softness, and manageability without the harsh chemicals or false promises. What began as a personal mission to care for my daughter’s crown grew into Winnie & Co.: a brand built by a mom, for other families just like mine.
